Privacy Policy for Verify Precisely

1. Information we collect 

Contact and identity details; payment information; usage data; documents you provide for notary, apostille, incorporation, or verification services; and — with your consent — biometric data (fingerprints) and, where applicable, criminal-history record information (CHRI) and drug/DNA collection information. 

2. Biometric data & fingerprints 

We collect fingerprints only with your written consent and only to provide the requested service. We do not sell, lease, or trade biometric data. Fingerprint data is stored securely (encryption, access controls) and destroyed within 30 calendar days of receipt or completion, whichever is sooner,

consistent with the FBI CJIS Security Policy. 

3. Criminal-history record information (CHRI) 

FBI Identity History Summaries are returned to you or to the authorized recipient you designate. We do not retain CHRI for our own purposes or build a database of customers’ records.

4. Employment screening (FCRA) 

For reports used in hiring, we act as a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, release reports only for a permissible purpose with the consumer’s authorization, and honor dispute and correction rights. 

5. How we share; security; your rights; retention 

We share information only with the providers needed to deliver your service (e.g., approved channelers, accredited laboratories, payment processors) and as required by law. We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls. You may access, correct, or request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention), and opt out of marketing. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as law requires.
